Anna Louise Moore

Anna (Sis) Louise (Payne) Moore, age 102, of China Spring, Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in China Spring, Texas to Oscar and Annie Pearl (Talbert) Payne, Anna graduated from Waco High School. She married Bobby (Bob) Glenn Moore on March 3, 1951 in Dallas, Texas. Bob’s service in the U.S. Air Force took them to Bangkok, Thailand where they spent two years together.

Sis was an exceptional homemaker and wonderful cook, ensuring that no one ever left her home hungry. She also dedicated several years to raising parakeets.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother, John O. Payne and his wife, Wanda; and her nephew, Dr. Larry Payne.

Survivors include her son, Oscar Glenn Moore of China Spring; daughter, Cheryl Moore Adams of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Brandi Pocsik (Mike), Jordan Barabas (Waylon), Crystal Everett (Trey), Shelbe Christoffersen (Stephen), and Weston Adams; as well as great grandchildren, Samantha, Max, and Jake Pocsik; Gavin, Syler, Hudson, and Brigham Barabas; Madison Everett, Owen and Sam Christoffersen; and Maddox and Blakely Adams.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Brookdale-Lake Shore, The Delaney, and Mary Ann Moore for the compassionate care they provided to Sis.
