Alexander Felan

Alexander Margarito Felan—friends and family knew him as “Alex”—passed away in his home on November 1, 2026. He was 54 years old.

Services are currently pending with OakCrest Funeral Home in Waco, Texas.

Alex was born on January 12, 1972, in Waco, Texas, to Margaret and Geronimo Felan. He was raised and attended school in Waco, Texas.

Alex had a big personality and a genuine love for life. He will be remembered for his courage, his love for his family and animals, and his devotion to his values.

Alex was adored by his family as he was kind and loved making people smile. There was never a dull moment when he was around. His family was his world, and he was theirs as well. He will be truly and deeply missed by all. Everyone who spoke about Alex always said he was a good man.

Alex was a devoted Catholic and a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Waco.

He was preceded in death by his father, Geronimo Gonzales Felan.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret Piña Felan; his wife of 32 years, Mischa Lynn Felan; his daughter, Amelia Alexis Felan; his son, Joshua Geronimo Felan; his sister, Monica Allison and her husband, Gary; his sister, Jessica Felan and her husband, Tony Jentoft; his niece, Amanda White; and numerous nieces and nephews.
