Obituary for Valorie Kay Teeple
Valorie Kay (Bass) Teeple was born on September 19, 1969, in McGregor, Texas. She passed from this life on April 5, 2022, at her home in Eddy, Texas. A memorial service will be held on April 23, 2022 at Oakcrest Funeral Home in Waco, Texas. The service will begin at 2pm with a visitation to begin an hour prior.
Valorie was the daughter of Connally and Freda Bass. She was raised in McGregor, Mount Calm and Bruceville-Eddy. She graduated from Mclennan Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy with Honors.
Valorie and Keith Teeple were married on July 22, 2011 in McGregor. She loved spending time with her precious grandchildren and her many dogs and she loved all animals. Her heart held limitless space for family, friends, all God’s creatures, as well as, the patients she passionately cared for as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Hillcrest hospital, Scott and White hospital, Santa Fe, and Marlandwood West nursing home. She loved and was loved by her patients and coworkers.
Valorie was preceded in death by one daughter, Valorie Nicole Rice and one brother, Rusty Bass. She is survived by her husband Keith of Eddy; her children, Holly Moreno and husband Daniel, Shawn Leger and wife Amanda, Shianne Andrews all of Eddy, and Hailey Teeple of Sedalia, Missouri; her parents, Connally and Freda Bass of Eddy; one sister, Bonnie DeLeon and husband Albert of Eddy; one brother, Wes Bass and wife Alisha of McGregor; and four grandchildren, Madisynn, Brantley, Daniel, and Jordan, 4 nephews, 4 nieces, and 1 grandnephew.
