Obituary for Santiago (Jimmy) Montoya
Santiago A. Montoya, 67, of Waco, passed away August 5, 2020 in Waco., Texas.
Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2020 with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. at
Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He was born December 16, 1952 in Waco to Santos G. Montoya and MA. Antonia Alonzo
Montoya. He worked at Ridgewood Country Club and enjoyed golf and his Dallas Cowboys.
He was very faithful on attending church at St. Francis Catholic Church. He was very dedicated to his mother when she got ill, and took care of her till the end.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 6 brothers.
He is survived by his daughters, Josie Sell and Jennifer Zapien of New Mexico; son, Santiago Montoya-Zapienof New Mexico; sisters, Patricia Montoya Tinsley of Waco, Tonita A. Montoya of San Antonio;
Socorro Olivarez of McGregor; brothers, Antonio Montoya, Sr, Ivieno A. Montoya, both of Waco. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
