Obituary for Ron Beverly

Ronald Dane Beverly

October 25, 1946 – April 28, 2021

The world has begun being deprived of a great man. Ronald Dane Beverly, age 74 was born October 25, 1946, and went to be with the Lord Wednesday morning April 28, 2021, after a short battle with ALS. Visitation with the family will be at Oakcrest funeral home on Sunday May 2, 2021, at 3-5pm. Graveside services will be held at Rosemound Cemetery on Monday May 3, 2021, at 2pm.

Ron or Ronnie as most people knew him, was a gentle and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and so much more. Ron graduated High School at University High School in Waco, TX in 1965. He later received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Commercial Art and Graphic Design at Texas Tech University in 1971.

Ron had a passion and love for God, his family, nature and national parks, classic cars and all forms of art, with plenty of love to spill over to all his friends and anyone else who encountered him. In his retirement and later years, he took up making art of classic cars, trucks, and hot rods. VROOM!

He is preceded in death by his parents Jake Beverly and Fern Dell Kennedy, his younger brother Steve Spruiell, and his in-laws Thomas Louis and Mildred Posey.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Elizabeth Beverly and 2 sons, Jason Louis and Eric Scott. He was also known as “Grampy” to his grandchildren Ilamae, Caden, and Melrose Beverly. Before his passing he and his wife celebrated their 50th wedding Anniversary on August 8, 2020.

He will be missed but seen again.
