Obituary for Robert F. Deiterman

Robert Francis Deiterman, 85, of Waco, beloved Father, was called to his eternal resting place on November 8, 2020. He entered this world on August 20, 1935, born to Louis and Otillia Deiterman.

He is survived by his Wife Claudia E. Deiterman of Waco, Texas, Sister Ann Tschoerner of Paris, Texas, Sons Jerry Deiterman of Austin, Texas, William and Laura Deiterman of Garland, Texas, and Alan Deiterman of Temple, Texas, and four nieces and nephews.

Robert served in the Army from 1961 - 1964 in the infantry and earned distinction as a sharpshooter. He was stationed in Germany following World War II as an occupying force.

Many people will remember him as the long-time manager of the A&P grocery store in Temple, TX and subsequently as a member of Texas State Comptroller Office known as "Bullock's Raiders", who performed "raids" on businesses that had collected state taxes from customers for many years but had not turned them into the state.

A memorial service will be held on November 12, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the OakCrest Funeral Home on 4520 Bosque Boulevard, Waco, TX
