Obituary for Randy L. Angle

Randy Lawrence Angle, 60, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at his home in Whitney, Texas. Randy was born December 11th, 1962, to Lillie and Harold Angle in Waco, Texas, the youngest of eight children.

Randy was a hardworking, honest man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He took pride in taking care of his animals, tending to his garden, and cooking for his loved ones. You would usually find him listening to an old country song watching the sunset underneath the oak trees at his property in Valley Mills, Tx where he resided for almost twenty years. His daughter, Katlyn, has many memories with him exploring all his next best fishing and swimming holes around Bosque County. Randy enjoyed living close to his father and nephews and always cherished spending time with his family and friends.

Randy began his lifetime career in the paint business as a young teenager working on any and everything from skyscrapers to million-dollar homes. He took pride in perfecting and crafting his trade and became an independent contractor by starting Angle Paint Company over thirty years ago. Randy enjoyed working for himself and made sure to teach his nephew, Brandon Mena, everything he knew about the trade.

Randy is survived by his daughter, Katlyn Cook; grandchildren, Isaiah Morgan, Isaac Myatt, and, Maverick Myatt; sisters, Lisa Angle, Judy McGraw, Paula Pursche, and Rita Eckert; brother, Keith Byer; nephews, Royce Seay, Sean Seay, Derrick Allison, Brandon Mena, and Roger Seay, Jr.; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents; and older siblings, Roger Seay, Sr. and Wanda Maddox.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Oak Crest Funeral Home, with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Rocky (Roger Seay Jr.) officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Marlin, Tx.
