Obituary for Patsy C. Meier
Patsy C. Meier, 84, of Waco, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Graveside services will be at 10:00 am Wednesday January 19, 2022 at Waco Memorial Park by Rev. Wayne Williams. Visitation for family and friends will be 5 to 7 PM Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Mrs. Meier was born May 19, 1937 in Chilton, Texas to Edward Cecil and Betty (Devora) Conaway. She was a good student and graduated from High School. In October 1960 she married the love of her life A.J. Meier.
Mrs. Meier worked with a number of different companies, but her favorite was being a homemaker and taking care of her family and especially loving and caring for her grandchildren. She also, enjoyed fishing, playing bingo, visiting casinos, and loving her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and loving husband.
Mrs. Meier is survived by her loving family: daughter, Brenda Blizzard and husband Scott of West, Texas; son, Terry Meier of Waco, Texas; grandchildren, Steven Blizzard and wife Kristine, Jordan Blizzard and Megan Blizzard; great-granddaughter, Icelyn Blizzard, and sisters, Betty Ruth Phillips, Ellen Buckner and husband Kenneth, and Shirley Dvorak and husband Ernest; and many nieces and nephews.
The family of Mrs. Meier wishes to express their most profound gratitude for the excellent care she received from the staff of Baylor Scott & White Hospice.
