Obituary for Mary Beth Simcik Pankratz

Mary Beth Simcik Pankratz
August 28, 1952 – November 27, 2020

Mary Elizabeth Simcik Pankratz was born to John Cecil and Mary Lee (Marak) Simcik in Waco and named in honor of her grandmothers. She was the first girl born into the Simcik lineage in six generations . She attended Waco schools and graduated from Richfield High in 1970. She attended MCC and the University of Houston before she accepted employment in the office of the Comptroller of the State of Texas where she served 33 years before retiring to Dripping Springs, Texas with her husband Tim.

Suddenly stricken with an unexpected illness, she soon passed away in an Austin hospital. Mary Beth was a marvelous cook and loved gardening and country life but longed to move back to Waco to be closer to family and friends.

She was preceded into God’s embrace by her “Daddy” and little brother Paul Noel (forever four)

Remaining behind with sorrowful hearts but happy memories are her husband Tim of Dripping Springs, Mother Mary Lee, Brothers John and Chuck, Sister Elaine, and many other family.

There will be a family graveside service when per her wishes her cremains, encased in her prized knife box hand made by her husband, will be interred with her beloved grandmother Mary Hanak Simcik in Holy Cross Cemetery.

S Panem Bohem, Mary Beth, drahá dcera, sestra, teta a manželka.
She has shed her mortal chrysalis; Her soul is wafting on the breezes of eternity.
