Maria Yolanda Rios of Waco, Texas passed away on September 6, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family at the age of 66 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Yolanda was born February 3, 1956, to the late Adela Guzman Rios & Domingo Rios Sr in Yorktown, Texas. Yolanda was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She met and fell in love with the late Ruben Ogeda March 1,1978 in Waco, Texas. Yolanda along with Ruben raised five grandchildren, Kristofer, Jordan, Tiffany, Tracy, and Hilaria. She was a factory worker for Spenco where she became disabled and became a homemaker. She loved cooking, spending time with her grandkids, and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; numerous of brothers and sisters; a stepson; and two grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Damon Ogeda (Besty), Domonic Ogeda; and a daughter, Lisa Elton; her stepchildren, Teresa Cadena (Adam), Ginger Lopez (Pete), Ruben Ogeda Jr, along with sisters, brothers, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
