Obituary for Kenneth Michael Kageler
Kenneth Michael Kageler, 65, of Waco, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023. He left to be with our heavenly father. Kenneth Michael Kageler was born on December 24, 1957, in Waco, TX to parents, Charlene Patsy Hixson and Kenneth Ralph Kageler.
Kenneth was a loving and caring husband, brother, uncle, and friend. Kenneth had worked for Wal-Mart for 21 years until he retired. He was a very strong and romantic person who was always there when we needed him.
Kenneth enjoyed doing oil painting, hunting, camping, fishing, and cooking outside with his smoker. He also played guitar and sang. He would make hunting bows with his father. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his brother, Randall Kageler, when they would go deer hunting and fishing.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Ralph Kageler; and his mother, Charlene Patsy Hixon.
He is survived by his loving wife Elsie Kageler of 20 years of marriage and together for 22 years; sister, Kimberly Atteberry from Hewitt, TX; brother, Randall Kageler from Whitney, TX; niece, Alyssa Berryhill and husband, Brett from Hewitt, TX; nephew, Shaun Atteberry and wife, Lauren from Austin, TX; two great-nephews, Arron and Luke Berryhill; and a great-niece, Evan Atteberry.
Kenneth will be deeply missed and loved by his family and friends.

A Memorial Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2023, at OakCrest Funeral Home, located at 4520 Bosque Blvd, Waco, TX 76712.
