Jose Luis Navejas


Jose Luis Navejas, 58, of Waco, TX, passed away on July 10, 2022. He was born July 15, 1963, in Eagle Pass, TX. He was a loving and caring father to his three daughters Veronica, Vanessa, and Elizabeth. He was a fun, loving, silly grandpa to his six grandbabies and one great grandbaby.

Jose loved spending time with each and every one of them. He was a hardworking family man that loved the Dallas Cowboys, even when they disappointed. He was the son of Jose Villa and Juanita Garcia Navejas.

Jose was preceded in death by his father, Jose Villa Navejas and sister, Nora Rodriguez.

Jose is survived by his daughters, Veronica Rodriguez and children, Joel, Leilani, Esmi, and Emmarie, Vanessa Navejas and Freddie Martinez and children Amariah, and Azaliah, and Elizabeth Navejas-Almenas and husband Edward Almenas; great-grandbaby, Demie; and ex-wife of 33 years, Esmeralda Valadez Westbrook. Also surviving are a brother, Vicente Navejas and wife Mari; sister, Sonia Suarez and husband Abraham; sister Martha Quick and husband Paul; brother, Jessie Navejas and wife Raquel; and brother, Joel Navejas, as well as countless nieces and nephews. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
