Obituary for Jose Ramirez
Jose C. Ramirez, 71 of Waco, passed away on December 29, 2022, at Baylor S&W Hillcrest Hospital surrounded by his family after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Visitation and Rosary will be on Thursday January 5th, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Oakcrest Funeral Home, located at 452 Bosque Blvd, Waco. Service will be on January 6, 2023, 10:00 am at Saint Francis Catholic Church on 315 Jefferson Ave. Waco TX. A Memorial Video prepared by Oakcrest Funeral Home honoring his life will be shown during the viewing. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Jose was born April 25, 1951, in Monterrey Mexico, he worked for the Constructura Garza Ponce in Monterrey Nuevo Leon now known as PREMACO, Grupo Garza Ponce as an Administrator.
Later in life he decided to follow his family and moved to Waco Texas, where he completed his Associates Degree in Accounting at the McLennan Community College.
He is preceded in death by his Parents Pedro Ramirez and Carmen Cubos de Ramirez, his siblings Socorro Ramirez, Hortencia Ramirez de Rodriguez, Juan Ramirez and three children who died at birth.
Survivors include Maria Ramirez de Martinez, Martha Abraham, Anita Berlanga, Jesus A. Ramirez, Pedro Ramirez, Eduardo Ramirez, Eleazar Ramirez, Adrian Ramirez, Carmen N. Escamilla, Carmen M. Perez, Patricia Quintanilla y Cuauhtémoc R. Cubos and numerous nephews and nieces
Pallbearer: Abel Abraham III, Israel Berlanga, Fabricio Berlanga, Leonardo Berlanga, Fernando Ramirez, Cuauhtémoc R. Cubos.
