Obituary for Guillermo "Willy" Navejas

Guillermo “Willy” Navejas was a devoted spouse, father, PoPo, brother and son. Willy passed peacefully at the age of 54 on Friday, November 4, 2022, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Hospital in Waco, TX. He was born on January 5, 1968, in Rochelle, Illinois to Isabel and Maria Navejas.

After graduating high school in Eagle Pass, TX, he immediately enlisted in the United States Army. Willy was deployed and served the two phases of the Gulf War, Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. Willy received several military recognitions including Over Seas Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Medal and two Bronze Stars.

He was preceded in death by his father, Isabel Navejas.

He is survived by his immediate family, his wife Patricia of 20 years, daughter Emily Torres (spouse O. Ryan), sons Eli Navejas, Daniel Fegette (spouse Amber), and Guillermo Navejas Jr.

Willy was also PoPo to Jaidyn, Karter, and Nova aka Chiquis.

He is survived by his Mother, Maria A Navejas, Brothers Ernesto Navejas (spouse Debbie), Hector Navejas (spouse Rosemary), Abel Navejas, sister Patricia Navejas (spouse Salvador), Roseanna Sanchez (spouse Roman), Esmeralda Navejas (spouse Tony), Minerva Soza (spouse Rudy). Nephews Alex Navejas, Noe Jr, Garcia, Michael Garcia, Roman Jr. IV Sanchez, Jeremy R Rowe, Jarett L Rowe, Nieces Jessica Navejas, Vanessa Navejas, Joanna Garcia, Annette Garcia, Samantha Sanchez, Mariah Payne (spouse Matthew), Gabriela Hedeman (spouse Kyle), Anaclaudia Estrada (spouse Timothy), Casandra Sanchez, Jennifer Sanchez, Rebecca Sanchez, Alexia M Rowe, Lakyn Soza. Leaving a host of many cousins and friends who he considered as family.
