Obituary for Edward Clark Anderson

On Monday January 11, 2021, Edward Clark Anderson, 58, of Waco, Texas passed away at his residence. Graveside services will at 2 pm, Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be 6 to 8 pm Tuesday January 19, 2021 at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Clark was born on November 6, 1962, in Waco, Texas to Eddie and Sondra (Thompson) Anderson. He graduated from China Spring High School in 1982, attended T. S. T. C., and McLennan Community College, receiving an Associates’ Degree. Clark was a loving son, father, and brother.

Clark had a passion for cars in his early years, he loved working and restoring them. He was an avid music lover and had a huge collection of all genres. He was known for his quick wit, his big smile and his generosity, but above all his love for his family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edward “Eddie” Anderson, and infant son, Kenneth George Anderson.
He is survived by his loving mother, Sondra Anderson; sister, Laurie Stovall; brothers, Scott Anderson and wife Terra, and Cory Anderson and wife Yolanda; uncle Richard Thompson, and wife Donna; several nieces and nephews; and his dogs, Teddy and Chili.

Honorary pallbearers are his nephews; Douglas, Tyler, Gage, Cristian, Bryce, Eric, Hunter, Ryan and friend Ed Jackson.

Memorials may be made to The American Heart Association in honor of Edward Clark Anderson
