Obituary for Debbie Faye Harrison

Debbie Harrison, 63, of Waco, Texas passed away on January 6, 2023, after battling a long illness.

Following Debbie’s wishes she will be cremated. Her service will be on Saturday, January 14, from 4-6 PM at OakCrest Funeral Home at 4520 Bosque Blvd, Waco, Texas 76710 with Ralph Serrano Jr. as the family speaker. A dinner with the family will follow the service.

Debbie was born May 25, 1959, in Germany, and settled in Waco before marrying and having four children, whom she loved dearly. Debbie worked over the years as a manager at Dollar General, and Time Manufacturing where she was a data entry clerk for 12 years, when she was forced to retire due to illness.

Her greatest love was her children and grandchildren. Her children fondly remember her telling them, “I love you to the moon and back.” Debbie was a hard worker her whole life, life was not always kind to her, but she always had a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Although she was taken too soon, we know that she is no longer hurting or suffering. We know that she is looking down on us and smiling that beautiful smile, she will be forever missed.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Harold Francis McGlauflin; mother, Mildred Mona Johnson; brother, Michael McGlauflin; and sister, Martha Ruche.

She is survived by her four children, daughter, Summer Anzaldua of Waco, Texas; son, James Wilson and wife, Angel of Waco, Texas, daughter, Jaimie Wilson and Fiancé, Cal of Waco, Texas; son, Joseph Wilson of Waco, Texas; her siblings, including her twin sister, Donna R. Jones; brother, Cris Carter and wife, Nina, brother, Thomas McGlauflin and wife, Gracie, brother Harold (Mac) F.
