Obituary for Belinda Sue Howard

Belinda Sue Howard, 69, of Waco passed away Tuesday Morning at 10:30am at Waco’s “Providence Hospice Place”.

Belinda was born December 10, 1952, in Waco, TX to E.L and Lillian “Ione” Drahn. She attended Waco High School and Waco Beauty College.

Belinda was an avid horsewoman who participated in a variety of equine events throughout her lifetime. From a young age, she enjoyed barrel racing and pole bending. She also loved trail riding throughout the Central Texas area. She graciously shared her years of animal knowledge with family and friends. Her passions in life were her many horses and many dogs, which she lovingly nurtured and trained.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lillian “Ione” Drahn; and her brother, David Leon Drahn.

Belinda is survived by her two sons Nick L. Kirkpatrick and Clint J. Howard and wife Kiri Howard along with two Grandsons Chance L. Kirkpatrick and Wyatt Howard along with one sister, Charlotte Brickey. She was aunts to numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to sincerely thank the “Providence Hospice Place” and most importantly all of the staff and nurses for their kind care and compassionate support for her during her last days here.
