Mrs. Hurtado was born November 19, 1926 in San Antonio, Texas to Vincent and Dominga (Gonzalez) Yglecias. She attended local schools, and was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and proud God Mother to many nieces and nephews. Beatrice was married to Jose Hurtado on June 25, 1950 at St. Francis Church in Waco. Beatrice had many interests. She loved to go to “the Country” and enjoy time cooking out, visiting with family and friends, and riding her moped.
