Obituary for Suzanne Wolz Morgan

Suzanne Wolz Morgan passed away on June 23, 2020 at the age of 78. Suzanne was born November 7, 1942 in Miami Beach, Florida to Edward Wolz and Martha Ellen Blake Wolz. She was married to Victor Mac Morgan on February 18, 1967 in Atlanta, Georgia. They were married 41 years and lived in Cypress, Texas, where Suzanne was a Certified Public Accountant.

Suzanne dearly loved her family, her parents, brother and sister-in-law, husband, daughter and son-in-law. They were the light of her life. Her happiest times were family trips and when the whole family sat down together to enjoy a good meal. She was a great mother to her daughter and wife to her husband.

She worked her whole life but had a second career as a social butterfly. Suzanne could light up any room and was instantly friends with any one she met. She also cared deeply for people and spent most of her life volunteering with Northwest Assistance Ministries in Harris County. She was an avid animal lover and doted on all her pets she had over her lifetime. She was a talented painter and her other hobbies included gardening, reading, walking her dogs, and bird watching.

Suzanne is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Morgan Malzahn and her husband, Donald Malzahn; and brother, Michael Wolz and sister-in-law, Susan Wolz. Suzanne is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Due to the risk of COVID-19, no formal memorial service will be held. A private family burial will be held at the Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association, or to a local, no-kill animal shelter.
