For over three decades, Chaplain Curtis Holland has been helping countless Waco families cope with the loss of a loved one, 27 of those years as Director of Pastoral Counseling at Hillcrest Hospital.
He is widely known and respected as "Waco's pastor", and OakCrest Funeral Home is proud to have him on our staff now. Curtis serves as our Family Chaplain and a licensed Pre-Need Counselor. |

Tammy Mattiza
Funeral Director / Embalmer
Tammy Mattiza was the first employee hired when OakCrest Funeral Home opened in 2001 and her caring personality and love of people has played an important role in our quick success. She is our after-hours night supervisor.
Our files are full of thank you letters to Tammy for her extraordinary care and concern that she shares with every family. She displays a bright, friendly smile to everyone, and always wants to make sure that every family is served the way they want to be -- and then some.
She is a graduate of the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, and is licensed funeral director and embalmer. She and her husband Chris live in Coryell City with their two children, Kaylee and Tyler. We are proud to have her on our staff.
