Helen Vera King, 70, of Ovilla, and formerly of Waco passed away July 28, 2010 in a Cedar Hill nursing home. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, OakCrest Chapel July 30, 2010 with Rev. Jim Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Helen was born January 23, 1940 in Waco to Frank LaCarter and Marie (Fuqua) LaCarter. She graduated from Waco High School and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, Billy Ray Donaldson and George Adell King.

Helen is survived by her daughters and son in law, Patricia and Kevin Koester and Connie Donaldson ; brother, Vince LaCarter; grandchildren, Billy Yarbrough and wife, Christina, Kristy Downs and husband, Robert, and Morgan Rich and husband, Michael; two great grandchildren, Brynn Downs and Braxtyn Rich.
