Condolence: Mrs. Scott, 50 years ago as a teenage friend of Jane's, I was often in your home, went to church meetings with you, and one time was your guest in San Marcos, where I learned about Wacky Cake and the cold waters of Aquarina Springs. Those times meant the world to me. Your dear husband was in harm's way over Viet Nam, but you were serene and smiling, trusting in Christ on his behalf. Jane and our mutual friend, Nancy, gave me a small red leather bible with the words of Christ in red which, some years later, I read and received, changing my life forever. Your husband was a handsome, brave, and happy man, and I am so glad God gave you 67 years together, and eternity to come. God bless you and all your family.
