Condolence: I have known Robert Carter for over 20 years. I served as his Unit Administrator and Detachment First Sergeant in the 348th Engr Det Robert was an outstanding friend and soldier. He would always go the extra miles to get his mission done and take care of his soldiers that were under him. What a tremendous loss. I will dearly miss Robert. Keeping all of you in our prayers.

Condolence: Robert’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

Condolence: We often hear the trm "one of a kind", Robert was way beyond that. Never have I known a person so giving as Robert. It was, indeed, an honor to have him as a friend, a compatriot, and a fellow veteran. We have lost a true Shepard of God. Our Lord has you and He will give you the peace you so richly deserve.

Condolence: Robert was my dear friend Since the 6th grade. Together we were up for anything. Such as the time we took hack saws and cut a car in half just so we could make a three wheeler. Robert you and your smile will be missed but not forgotten. Jerry Welch

Condolence: Carter Family - My prayers for your family is that God gives you all strength and peace to face these days and comfort in knowing you are loved. Robert was so very good at bringing people together for a shared purpose and kindled a dedication to the cause. I feel certain that all his good work will continue because of how he was able to develop those relationships. He will be missed by our class, by Waco and all those who knew him.
