Condolence: I am so sorry to hear about Dan. I have so many great memories of him from my childhood. I wish that Dad could have come to the visitation and service but he just got out of the hospital on Monday and wasn't up to it. I know he treasured their friendship and partnership. We will keep all of you in our prayers.

Condolence: I always thought Dan was the coolest adult that I knew. As a kid, he had all my favorite stuff. Baseball, baseball, baseball. I probably went to 50 Astros games with him and my family. Pretty sure at least 45 of them were against the Braves. I remember once asking why everyone was giving a standing ovation for a player coming off the bench. Uh, it was Hank Aaron. I was young!! Loved being around him. Always looked forward to it. He was great and I will miss him dearly, but I have many fond memories to hold on to. Love you Dan. Rest in everlasting peace.
