Obituary for Frank Martin Voltin

Frank M. Voltin, 88, of Waco, passed away May 21, 2017 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 24, at Oakwood Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m., Tuesday, May 23, followed by visitation until 8 p.m. at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Frank was born in Falls County, Texas to John F. and Ilean Heck Voltin. He attended schools in Barclay, Rosebud, and North Texas University, graduating in 1950. He served in the United States Army in Japan and Korea as a Master Sargeant. On October 10, 1959, he married Henrietta Blue. To this marriage two daughters were born. Frank was employed by Texas Farm Bureau for 37 years, retiring in 1994.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Magdalen Cardwell; and his beloved wife, Henrietta.
Surviving Frank are his daughters, Mary Jane Voltin, and Susanne Gentry and husband, Jim; granddaughter, Kim Blankenship; grandson, Adam Whitaker; and great-granddaughter, Taylor Jeffrey, all of Waco. He also leaves behind his brother, Marcus J. Voltin and wife, Phyllis, of Killeen; and six nephews.
