March 25, 1929 – January 11, 2017

Eleanor Kopicki, 87, of Waco passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at her home surrounded by loved ones.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at St. Louis Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Kopicki was born March 25, 1929, in Plymouth, PA to Andrew and Mary Piscotty. She was raised and educated in Plymouth, PA, and married her hometown sweetheart, Thomas Kopicki Jr. on February 14, 1953. Eleanor moved to Waco in 1976 when her husband was transferred from Cold Spring, NY to Waco.

Mrs. Kopicki was a loving and devoted mother and wife. While raising her children, Mrs. Kopicki was always quick to volunteer to cook, bake, be a den mother for her sons Boy Scout troop and host many gatherings for friends and family. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.

Mrs. Kopicki was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Thomas Kopicki Jr., her parents and her sisters Joan and Rosemary. Eleanor is survived by her children, Beth Ann Kopicki of Seaford, DE, Thomas Andrew Kopicki and his wife Pam of Waco, TX, and Linda (Kopicki) Dudley and her husband Ric of Lorena, TX, five grandchildren: Jason Kopicki and his wife Erica, Hannah Kopicki, Abigayle Shin and her husband Shane, Andrew Good and his wife Libby, and Jacob Good and his wife Huiling; 8 great grandchildren: Cheyenne, Jadis, Amayah and Ayannah Kopicki, Alexa Kopicki, Benjamin Good, and Kai and Lyra Shin; and five grand doggies: Baboo, Uno, Rojo, Princess and Max.
