Obituary for Geronimo G. Felan

Geronimo Gonzales Felan, 67, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 at his residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Friday, August 26, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Rev. Benjamin Magnaye as Celebrant, burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Geronimo was born September 29, 1948 in Meridian, Texas to Margarito and Augustina (Gonzales) Felan. He graduated high school and attended Baylor University. He began a long career in auto sales, and was known for his honesty and fair dealing with his customers. He was a devout catholic and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He ushered the 5:30 pm Saturday Mass for many years.

Geronimo was a good son, husband, father and the best grandfather, as well as a real friend to all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and baby brother, Johnny Felan.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; children, Monica Allison and husband, Gary, Alexander Margarito Felan and wife, Mischa, Jessica Felan and fiancé Anthony Jentoft, and Amanda Casper and fiancé Charles White; grandchildren, Brittany Pitre and husband, Scott, Jeremy, Marlissa, Tyus, Amelia, Vivica, and Joshua; great grandchildren, Payton, Makenzi, Rileigh, Jayce, Kaycee, Samantha, and Benton; sisters; Nieves Arroyo, Hilda Contreras and Michelle de la Cruz; brother, Tito Felan.



Honorary Pallbearers, are Michael Pina and Jon Michael Wallace: Active Pallbearers are Alexander Margarito Felan, Jeremy Cox, Tyus Carrizales, Pascual Contreras, Jr., Dominique Rosales, Marty Felan, Pascual Contreras, Sr. and Johnny Gonzales.
