Frances Ann McCoy, 68, departed this life on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 in Ft. Worth, Texas. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 20 at 11 a.m. at Rocky Creek Baptist Church in Mart. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, June 19 from 2 to 4 p.m. at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Frances was born September 4, 1947 in Mart, Texas to Buddy McCoy, Sr. and Bernice Jones Williams. Frances was a loving, caring and protective mother and grandmother. She was a great storyteller, loved to cook and enjoyed crafting. She never met a stranger and enjoyed visiting with others.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Deidra Carter, Lona McCoy, and Stacy McCoy and wife, Peggy; brother, Billy Jones and wife, Rose; sisters, Gloria Glover and husband, James, Rhonda Carpenter and husband, Donald Ray, and Janet Bridgewater and husband, Charles; step-mother, Dorothy McCoy; grandchildren, Kenneth A. Carter, Jr., Kevin Carter, Deon McCoy, Kenisha Carter, Cherika McCoy, Rahkeim McCoy, Rashaun McCoy, Tyson McDaniel, Tyneil McCoy, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
