Obituary for Charles Ray Hogan

Charles Ray Hogan, 49, of Waco passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. Services will be Wednesday, August 12 at 2pm at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Charles was born September 6, 1965 in Ft. Worth, Texas. He worked at Goodwill for 2 years and was employed at the City of McGregor for over 21 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, races, BBQ’s, family get-togethers and working with his brother, Robert. He was a fan of rattlesnake roundups, all holidays, playing Texas Pick 3 Lottery, going to Bossier City and reading the news. He was a kind man, always willing and ready to help with anything. He always had a smile on his face. He loved to laugh and joke with others. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.

Charles was preceded in death by his stepdad, Kenneth Lindsey and all of his grandparents.

He is survived by his mother, Eva Lindsey; his father, David Joe Hogan; brothers, David Hogan and wife Becky, Robert Hogan and wife Cheryl, Eddie Hogan and wife Melody, Raymond Mathis, Jr. and wife Beth; nieces and nephews, Brandon Hogan and wife Hope, Ami Davis, Shelby Coleman and husband Mike, Timothy Hogan and wife Annmarie, Kayla Lofland, Adrian Hogan, and Abigail Hogan; great nieces and nephews, John Hogan, Sierra Hogan, Nevaeh Coleman, Walter Coleman, Blaine Coleman; and extended family and friends.
