Obituary for Marvajo Holcomb Hayden

Marvajo Holcomb Hayden
April 23, 1954 – August 1, 2015

Marvajo Holcomb Hayden, 61, of Lorena, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 6, at OakCrest Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Moore of Top Hand Cowboy Church officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Boulevard.

Marvajo was born April 23, 1954 in Myrtle Springs to Marvin and Wilma (Rose) Holcomb. She attended Connally schools, and was a former employee of Olan Mills. Presently she worked at Marathon Norco Aerospace. She loved to dance, play slots, and spend time with her family, especially her grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Kenneth.

Marvajo is survived by her daughter, Amanda Ford and husband Raymond; mother, Wilma Holcomb; two sisters, Barbara Taylor and husband Odie and Peggy Kirkland and husband Rob; brother, Mike Holcomb and wife Melinda; two grandchildren, Bryson and Brayden; many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. She is also survived by her special friend, Dennis Watson. She will be greatly missed.

The family especially thanks Dr. Artie Sudan, Dr. Thomas Harris and staff at Texas Oncology, and Providence Hospice caregivers.
