Anthony B. Otto
December 25, 1941 – November 9, 2014

Anthony B. Otto, 72, died Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Providence Hospital after battling throat cancer for 3 years. Memorial Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at Apostolic Tabernacle UPC with Rev. Stephen Daywitt officiating.

Anthony was born in Utica, NY to Lucjan and Lydia (Symanski) Otto. He was raised in Verona, NY where he attended VVS High school, graduating in 1959. Tony joined the National Guard and continued his education becoming a graduate of both Morrisville College and University of Georgia. He worked many years at Revere Copper and Brass Company in Rome, NY till 1985 when he relocated to Waco where he became a supervisor for Texas Copper Works, eventually retiring as an Air Service Maintenance Technician. Tony was known for his ability to “fix anything” and many friends will miss his help. His oldest son will miss the summer visits and the many, many movie adventures they shared.

“Tony”, as known by many, leaves behind two sons, Anthony L Otto of Verona, NY and Stephen J Otto and his wife Christy of Clinton NY; 2 daughters; Kristin M Otto of Rome, NY and Bethanne L Franklin and her husband Laurence of Verona, NY. Also 7 grandchildren: Avery, Logan, Jaxon, Lydia, John-Russell, Samantha and Tyler and many dear friends.

The family thanks Kenny and Ruby Dunn of Waco for all they have done to help in this time of need.
